The message I took this from is almost two years old. Is this information about joining still right? Is there any where that I can purchase a copy of Ms. Adams' book? They have it at the local Family History Center on microfilm but it is at the end of the film and I have to go through 4 other books to get to this one. Also, most of my ancestors lived in Shelby County and this has proved to be a goldmine of information for me. Thanks. Karen

Hi Karen, Although it is not clear from your message which publication you are referring to, Shelby County Genealogical Society has many, many publications available, most of which Barbara Adams had a hand in. I would suggest going to the Shelby County Gen Society web site, http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohshelby/mnpg.html , and searching for their publication list. Barbara Adams was co-author of two early Shelby County marriage books, and look carefully for information on those publications under the Fort Loramie Genealogy Society publications, which are also listed under the Shelby County Gen Society books.
