I am researching the Houtzer surname. John J. Houtzer came to Shelby Co in 1835 and may have left the county in 1845 for Allen Co. Does anyone do lookups for birth, marriage, death? John had a first wife that dies, don't know her name. John remarries to Marcuria (sp?) Kern approx. 1840 and has 3 children I know of: Valentine, Robert and John C.
