Hello and Happy Holidays! I am looking for information about the Guy family. My great-great grandmother was Mary Jane Guy who married William Jones in 1870. I have pictures of a Bell Guy in our family photo album but I don't know how she fits into the family. There is also a picture of my grandfather, Carl (Andy) Van Fossen, as a boy with Russell Guy and Charles Guy. Again, I do not know how they fit into my family. Any help would be appreciated! Hello, Since I do not know how far you have gone back, Let me give you a few suggestions. I have a copy of the 1870 census index of Shelby Co. The Guy family are located in Clinton Township. Also a William VanFlossen. (page 436) Also the Jones families. You should check those census and may very well find what your looking for. If you want names and page numbers for Jones and Guy, let me know. As noted the VanFlosen is on page 436. A lot of Jones live near them. Also a Guy on same page. Four other Guys in same township.
