    2. > Hello, Thank you for your look up. There just seems to be no record of those triplets being buried there. I can remember my grandmother telling me about them and showing me about where they were buried. If I am not mistaken the Henry Beemer and Susanna buried there would be the grandparents of the triplets. Guess I will never know and will just have to go on what my grandmother told me. She was the oldest child and I am sure would have remembered correctly. I doubt there was ever a stone for the babies.....but I did think there would be a record of some sort with the cemetery. The only proof I have found is a paragraph in their fathers obit and the story of my grandmother. Thanks so much for your time and trouble. They were born after 1875...I would guess in the middle 1880's. There were the sons of Henry Beemer and Magdalena Stengel Beemer. Do you have any Sandy, Here is what is in the book: St. Jacob Lutheran (Old Swanders): On West side of County Road 25-A, one mile south of Anna, in Franklin Township. Most names and inscriptions are written in German. Cemetery was extensively damaged by a tornado in 1965 and tombstones that could be salvaged were reet in a group at the center of the plat. The presnet St. Jacob Luthern Church is located in Anna, Ohio and burials are made in Pearl Cemetery. The following Beemers were buried there: Beemer, Henry, d Nov 29 1875, 69y 10m Beemer, Susanna, wife of Henry, d 1866, 53y Pearl Cemetery: Located in Franklin Township on west side of Co. Rd. 25-A, six miles north of Sidney. Active community cemetery, platted in May 1893 and reportedly named for Pearl Bretches, first burial thereafter. The previously existing Old Reformed Church Cemetery comprises the northeast portion of Section F. I cannot find anything of triplet boys being buried at either cemetery. There are some Beemers buried in Pearl Cemetery. But according to your timetable for the triplets, this cemetery was not formed until quite later than their deaths. Here are the Beemers buried in Pearl Cemetery. Beemer, Joseph G, 1853-1934 Beemer, Magdalena, 1852-1943 Beemer, Henry J. 1879-1961 Beemer, Della N., 1884-1967 Beemer, William E., Feb 22 1905 - Mar 7, 1905 Beemer, Paul A., 1915-1973 Hope this is helpful to you. 1. Re: Re: [OHSHELBY] Looking for Thompson Cemetery, Perry Twnsp., Shelby Co.
    2. Hello, This query does not relate to the Thompson's, but rather to cemetery look ups. For years I have been trying to discover if there is a record for triple sons that were born to my great grandmother. My grandmother told me they were buried in the far left corner of a little cemetery about a mile south of Anna on County Road 25A. This cemetery belonged to St. Jacob's Lutheran Church of Anna, but I cannot recall its exact name. I have checked church records but the last time I checked all of the early German church records were not yet translated. I would like to know if there is a cemetery record that states they were buried there. They were all boys...and lived from a few hours to the last one possibly a week. They were born after 1875...I would guess in the middle 1880's. There were the sons of Henry Beemer and Magdalena Stengel Beemer. Do you have any records of their buriel in your book? Would really appreciate it if you get a chance to check this out. Thanks. 1. Re: [OHSHELBY] Looking for Thompson Cemetery, Perry Twnsp., Shelby Co.
    2. Hi Rick in Indy, I have the book "Memorial Records of Shelby County, Ohio": Thompson Cemetery is a small, nearly inaccessible cemetery in the north central park of Perry Township, approximately halfway between Johnston-Slagle and Pence Roads. Here are the Thompson surnames listed: Thompson, Martha, d Sept 2, 1849, 4 y. Thompson, Smallwood, d Mar 31, 1875, 84y 1m 8d Thompson, Margaret, wife of Smallwood, d Aug 13, 1895, 94y 9m 4d Hope this is helpful to you. If you need any other info on Thompson surname and first name or any other surname and first name in Shelby County, please let me know and I will be more than willing to look them up for you from the book (the book goes from 1819-1975 and covers all cemeteries in Shelby County.) 3. My Cornelius Kelly was from Sidney. My Cronley line lived there from 1857 (? marriage record) until after 1880. Catherine Cronley Kelly was listed in the 1880 census as Catherine Roly ???? living with daughter Mary and husband Allen Healy (spelled "Helely") in that census. Any info is appreciated. Since my GG Grandmother Mary Healy was born in N.Ireland, 1849, they must have come to Ohio sometime between 1850 and 1857. I do not know if Barney Cronley died prior to their coming to the US or between those years as I can find no death record. 3. I am descended from a Catherine Cronley who married Cornelius Kelly Aug 18,1857, Shelby Co. Both were widowed at the time. Cornelius died in Oct 15, 1859. In 1860, Catherine was living with Michael Cronley, 23, James Cronley 16, Mary Cronley 11, and Joseph Kelly 7. Does anyone know the name of her first husband (Cronley) or if she is related to the Logan, Hardin Co. Cronleys. The death certificate of Mary Cronley Healy states her father was "Barney" but can find no death record of him. They were from Northern Ireland. Catherine Cronley died 1893, Indianapolis.

    3. Mary, What a very nice offer. I have two ladies that have on their death cert.-- they were born in Shelby County. One is Anna Eliza Carter born Dec. 20, 1860 and the other is her daughter, Lulu Mae Fidler born October 23, 1882. Anna also had a baby boy who died but name is unknown as well as a date. I would imagine the boy's last name would be Fidler, and death date would be between 1879 and 1890. Don't spend any time looking--but if you stumbled on him......jot him down? Do you need any info from Woodford or Tazewell County in Illinois? Smiles, Denise

    3. I work one block from the Shelby County, Ohio, Health Department and one block from the Shelby County Courthouse. I can do limited look-ups (free) as my time permits. I go over on my lunch hour alot. If you will give me the name, approximate birth/death date or at least a range of years, I can at least check to let you know if there is a record. I can let you know what is on the record or if you want you can obtain a certified copy by writing to the health dept. Only certified copies are available from the health dept. and the cost is $15 each. For older birth records, I can check the records at the courthouse which is more time consuming but I am willing to do what I can as my time permits. Mary

    1. Birth Records
    2. In Ohio: Births prior to 1908 were entered into a ledger maintain by the Probate Courts. Not all births were recorded. You might find births from 1856 when Ohio was supposed to start keeping the records but they will be sporadic and they may not give too much data. I do know that Shelby County, Ohio has records for these 'early' births - been there. 1908 and after the recording of birth records became the responsibility of the Health Departments and more data was listed. This also goes for deaths. Re: prior to 1908 records might be in the Probate Court departments and 1908 and after you will find them in the Probate Dept. Marriages were always maintained in the Probate Court Depts. but it wasn't until about the 1890's that the parents of the bridge and groom were listed. There is a Shelby Co., in Kentucky also.
