Lima Daily News, Jan 12, 1905 J.O. REIFF, of St. John's avenue received a message about 11 o'clock yesterday morning that his brother-in-law, Fred KELLER, of Galion, a C. & E. engineer had been killed a few hours before, his engine blowing up in Creston, 14 miles east of Galion. Engineer KELLER, was about 52 years of age and had been in the service of the C & E for 24 years. For 15 years he had been at the trottle of the iron horse pulling the Well-Fargo express. Mr. and Mrs. REIFF and children Audree and Edgar, left yesterday afternoon for Galion, where the funeral will be held probably tomorrow morning. Robert McDONALD, a helper at the L.E. & W railway shops, recently from St. Marys, where his family resides, met with a painful accident about 5 o'clock last evening. He was assisting another workman and in using a large iron bar it slipped and fell upon his right leg, breaking the member just below the knee. Jones & Williams ambulance conveyed him to his boarding house at 322 south McDonald. Mrs. W.E. BOYER and baby, of south Elizabeth street, left yesterday to visit her parents in North Robinson. John ROTHROCK, of the Fisher Bros. barber shop, is ill at his home on south Union street with stomach trouble. The Rev. J.D. LAWRENCE and family have left for Oklahoma, where the reverend gentleman will serve two pastoral charges. Daniel O'CONNELL is here from Orrick, Mo., visiting his father, brother and sister on Forest avenue. He has been at work for the Buckeye Pipe Line out there for the past four months. W.E. HESS has purchased the property at the southwest corner of Greenlawn and Kibby street. Hazel and Anna, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. TURLINGER, of Henry street, have scarlet fever. Another daughter, Hattie, recently recovered from the disease. The Alvin HANEY family yesterday moved from 560 south Pine to 404 McPheron avenue. Mrs. H.H. KEMBLE and neice, Miss Edna WERNER, left last night for their home in Buffalo, N.Y., after a two weeks' visit with the former's sister, Mrs. Dr. Burt HUBBARD, of south Main. John T. TURNER, of Columbus Grove, was her on business yesterday.
Lima Daily News, Jan 16, 1905 ( also the date on the Rose Fisher obit) Paid Dearly for Assault on His Wife Probate Judge MILLER Takes Good Care of Thomas SEYMOUR Thomas SEYMOUR, who assaulted his wife and daughter at their home on east North street, several evenings ago, and who was bound over to the Probate court by Mayor ROBB, had a hearing this afternoon before the latter and was sentenced to thirty days hard labor at the Toledo work house, to remain committed until the costs in the case are paid. He admitted striking his wife and daughter, the evidence showing that he had knocked three of her teeth out.
Apoplexy Causes the Death of Mrs. Rose Fisher Died at the City Hospital Yesterday- Funeral Tomorrow Afternoon From The Epworth M.E. Church Mrs. Rose FISHER, aged 48 years, of the corner of Bellefontaine and Harrison avenues, died last night at eleven o'clock at the hospital of apoplexy. The remains were taken to the home of Mr. J. SEIBOLT, 401 Prospect avenue. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock from the Epworth M.E. church.
Lima Daily News, Mar 24, 1906 Stroke of Paralyis suffered by Elias Crites, well known Resident of German Township Elias CRITES, a very prominent man of German township, living but a short distance of Elida, was laid low a by a stroke of paralysis, which affected his right side. Owing to his advanced age, he being eighty-one years old, his recovery is reported as doubtful.

ROBINSON opened their home near the Auglaize river Sunday to a party of relatives who spent the hours most pleasantly together. Mr. ROBINSON, who is 82 years of age, and Mrs. ROBINSON, 74, were born in Wales and came to this vicinity in 1849. Those present at the reunion were; David D. ROBINSON and wife, John ROBINSON and family, Joseph ROBINSON and family, S.V. FERGUSON and family, of West Cairo; Mrs. William FORD, of Carey; Mrs. Frank BARNES and children, of Beaverdam; Martin STEMEN, of near Rushmore; John ESMONDS and family, of Rushmore; Bert BEST and family of Rushmore; Mr. and Mrs. F.E. SMITH of Delphos.
Lima Daily News, Apr 26, 1906 Death Relieved Mrs. John Hutchinson at nine o'clock this morning after an illness of several months from cancer. Mrs. John HUTCHINSON, wife of Probate Judge HUTCHINSON, died this morning at nine o'clock at her home, 126 south Metcalf street; after an illness of six months from cancer. Deceased was 57 years of age. Besides the sorrowing husband, she leaves one daughter, Miss Halce HUTCHINSON, to mourn their loss. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock from the residence.

H. SIMS preached the funeral of James BOGART, of Bluffton, Sunday afternoon. Deceased was a deacon in the Church of Christ there. Pneumonia caused the death of Mrs. Susan Etta SAMPSELL, 68, Sunday at the home of her daughter Mrs. T.E. DRAKE, of 117 S. Collett st. She had been ill for one week. Mrs. SAMPSELL was born in Columbiana- co Ohio, November 12, 1855. In addition to the daughter at whose home she died, she is survived by two sons Warren A. and Samuel SAMPSELL, both of Indianapolis. The body was accompanied to Indianapolis Monday morning where funeral services and burial will take place.
Lima Times Democrat, May 31, 1904 James BOLTON was born at Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Oct., 27, 1818, and died May 21st, 1904, at the home of his daughter on west Spring street, this city. In his youth his parents moved to Mercer county, where he grew to manhood, and was united in marriage to Lucinda THOMPSON, with whom he lived happily for 52 years. She was not called to her long home until Mar., 27, 1891, leaving husband and four children to mourn their loss. Mr. BOLTON was a member of the Methodist church since his early manhood, was an honored member of Allen lodge, I.O.O.F. for many years. He had been in poor health for a long time, but he failed very fast during the long winter and took to his bed six weeks prior to his death. His illness was painless, no disease, but a general breaking down, failing and he died as he lived, surrounded by his children whose loving hands were ready to smooth his pillow and comfort him. The funeral was held at the home of his daughter Mrs. KELLER, on May 23, 1904, at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. AVANN, of Trinity church, and Rev. MILLS, his former pastor, and greatly beloved by the deceased. Services were largely attended. All of his children, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren were present except W.W. DUTTON and family, of Schenectady, N.Y. The remains were laid beside his companion in beautiful Woodlawn.
Lima Times Democrat, July 4, 1906 Mark GUYTON was born in Perry county, Ohio, January 17, 1847, and departed this life, Jun 27, 1906, aged 59 years, 5 months and 10 days. When ten years old, with his parents, he moved to near Ada, Hardin county, Ohio. On December 27, 1868 was married to Leucrecia GRUBBS. To this union was born four daughters and one son. In 1871 he moved to his late residence at which place he lived until death. On March 17, 1892, the companion of his youth was called to her eternal home. On March 23, 1895, was united in marriage to Miss Sarah AUSTIN, who survives him. He enlisted in the U.S. army during the Civil war, January, 1864, and remained in said until the war closed. He united with the Lafayette Christian church during the pastorate of Rev. C.J. HANCE, February 25, 1891, in whose fellowship he continued a faithful and consistent member until death.He was loved and respected by all who knew him. He endured his affliction with much patience and Christian fortiude, leaving a satisfactory assurance that all was well with his soul. He leaves a wife, four daughters and one son, one step-daughter, five brothers and one sister; 16 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren and many friends to mourn his early departure.

Lima News, Oct 24, 1921 Funeral services for Clement A. DICKMAN, who died in a Toledo hospital Friday, will be held Tuesday afternoon at the First United Brethren church. The Rev. HOWARD, pastor will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn. Lima News, May 7, 1921 Mrs. Elizabeth Ann BRADRICK, 72, died Friday at 9 a.m. at City hospital following a four weeks' illness. She was born in Knox- co and is survived by her husband, John L. BRADRICK. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at South Side Baptist church, the Rev. H.F. DUDLEY officiating.
