Hi Judy, I know I am about four months late in getting to you about this but real life has gotten in the way big time lately and I'm just getting around to cleaning out my mailbox. I'm glad I didn't just delete everything like I was ging to do. Did you and Shelby connect?? If you and she did, then we have a connection also, albeit a little more removed probably. Have you been in contact with Dale Faber? He descends from Aaron Clouser also. His grandmother and Martha Clouser Shiley were sisters. My grandpa's brother married Martha's daughter Mary but I also descend from Aaron's brother Enoch Clouser. Hope I haven't totally confused you!!! <smile> Feel free to write!! MRS. MARTHA SHILEY DIES IN HOME HERE Mrs. Martha Alice Shiley, 46, wife of Rollie M. Shiley, died at 3 a.m. today in the family residence on Harley street. She had been in ill health for the past seven months. Mrs. Shiley was born here Nov. 22, 1888 to Lewis J. and Ida E. Clouser. She was married Sept. 5, 1905, to Rollie M. Shiley, and 12 children were born to this union. Two died in infancy and Mrs. Morris Gittinger was fatally burned last February, leaving Mr. Shiley and nine sons daughters surviving, Mrs. Ida Dryfuse, Mrs. Charles Everhart, and Mrs. Bernard Myers, all of Tiffin; Mrs. Fred Selvey, and Leon Shiley, both of Green Springs; Mildred, Earl, Helen, and Rosabelle, all at home. Mrs. Shiley was member of the First English Lutheran church. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Martha's daughter Mary was married to my grandpa's brother Morris Gittinger (my grandpa is Gilbert). Morris, Mary and their son Richard died in a tragic fire.
