    3. Hi Barbara, My 3rd great-grandparents, George and Christina (BREINE) DALLMAN were also from Alsace. According to "History of Seneca County, Ohio", by Warner, Beers & Co., Chicago (1886), they came to America in 1826 and to Seneca County in 1833. It doesn't say where they were between 1826 and 1833. They may have been in PA as their daughter, Margaretta, married my 2nd great-grandfather, Jacob GRUVER, who was from PA, sometime before 1836. However, I don't know if they married before or after coming to Ohio.
