If possible, I would appreciate any information available regarding Philiip BURTSCHER's Naturalization. I estimate that he migrated to Ohio in about 1851-1852. He was born in Prussia in 1826. He was married to Margaret (surname unknown to me), also born in Prussia in 1829. Philip was a farmer. There was also a Nick BURTSCHER of Fostoria, Seneca, born in Prussia in 1840. He was a retail grocer. Any information about Nick Burtscher would be appreciated, but my primary interest is with Philip Burtscher since he was my gr. grandfather. I would be most interested in obtaining copies of the actual papers, but I would be very satisfied just to have the dates, place, and other vital information by which I might order copies.
