This is for the Hopewell Twp. 1850 census, pg. 294a. The name is John Briner, with wife Mary. I need to confirm that the actual census document lists his age as 61 and not possibly 71. It would mean a great deal in trying to link him with known Johns. Thanks Tim >> Hi Tim, In our Original Land Entries of Seneca County, Ohio, by Brill, Sackett & Holscher, 1992, there are two references to a John BRINER in Hopewell Township. They are: John BRINER, w. 1/2 n.w. 1/4 sect. 28, Oct 20, 1830, and John BRINER, e. 1/2 n.e. 1/4 sect. 29, April 13, 1832. You may have this already, but I send it along for what it's worth. Regards, Ken Shute, in MD ([email protected]).
