Kate, We checked the Seneca County Genealogical Society Cemetery Book and the Pleasant Union Cemetery Book. A Charles and Elizabeth Bastian are buried at Pleasant Union Cemetery, p 83, but have slightly different ages than you noted. Charles's record/inscription reads: 1851-1935, male/married/age 84, last residence Ft. Seneca, b Ft. Seneca/ d 29 May 1935. Elizabeth's record reads: 1861-19 __, female/ married/ age 79 y 2 m 26 d/ last residence Ft. Seneca/ d 11 Oct 1940. they share a common tombstone. The Marriages of Seneca County Book, p 18, listed Charles Bastain, age 21, married Elisabeth Nighswander, age 18, May 6, 1884, officiated by a William Smith, MG (Minster of the Gospel), Citation No. 9-132.
