Edward Swander's 3rd wife was Harriet Morse Ladd, widow of Jesse Ladd. With Harriet they had one child, Bertha Matilda, b. 14 Aug., 1872. This information came from "History of the Swander Family" by Rev. John I. Swander ca. 1900. It is a very good volume, but is somewhat rare. These Swanders came to Seneca County in large numbers from Lehigh Co., PA. at an early date.
