In all the Seneca Co., histories, in the land records, and in the biographies, the name is Cassety. In the MARRIAGES OF SENECA CO., OHIO 1841 - 1899, Elizabeth, Jane, and Nancy (my ancestor) were all Cassidys. I have found both spellings, plus Cassity and Cassedy in various places.
