    1. Old St. Patrick's Church
    2. The old St. Patrick's Church which was located on the Bullfrog Road (Co. Rd. 18) was built in 1863. It was a mission of the St. Boniface parish at New Riegel. The church was struck by lightning on June 16, 1913, and it was completely destroyed by fire, with only the foundation remaining. The new church was built in Bascom. There is a brief history of the St. Patrick's parish, including a picture of the old church, on pages 57-60 in the 1987 Bascom Sesquicentennial booklet. I believe there is a copy available in the Tiffin Library. Don Rogier
