Jared L. Lindley m. Rachel Amanda E. Babylon, granddaughter of Elizabeth Smith who was an early pioneer (1833) of Seneca Co., in Seneca Co on April 15, 1845. Amanda came to Seneca Co. with her grandmother and aunts from MD in 1833 after her mother died in childbirth. They settled in Bloom Twp. near Elizabeth's daughter and son-in-law Solomon and Lydia Miller and their family. Later Jared and Amanda Lindley can be found in the 1850 Hancock census and then in Wood Co until their deaths. But, I cannot find where Jared came from or who his parents and siblings were. Are there any Lindley families in Seneca Co. in the early 1840s? Is anyone researching Lindley on this list or Smith and Miller that might have some information on Jared L. Lindley? Thank you.
