Sam died 1870. Wife Harriet, died 1873 and one daughter Clara, died 1872 both in Seneca County infirmary. Another daughter, Genetta died 1878 in "Orphan home, Seneca County". Would this be St. Francis and are there any records from this early. In 1880, daughter Ruth Gifford, age 20, was a servant for Hezekiah Groff, retired sadler, 4th Ward. In 1886, she was was living in Bloomville. By 1890, she was Ruth Dewess. Nothing else can be found about her. Youngest sister was Analize (Elizabeth, Annie) Gifford. Born 1869, she was still living in Seneca County in 1886 with the Gifford name. Nothing else known. Have thoroughly search Tiffin-Seneca County Library for marriage records, etc and a cousin searched the court house for death records. If anyone can help me, contact me privately.
