They were from Hauenstien Germany, this was in the Province of Bavaria...the 1st family came to Seneca Cty Ohio in 1846...my ancester was 2 years old, Andrew Morio (later spelled Moreo). Parents were Philippe Morio and xxx Siebel...cant recall her 1st name but I have it written down along with several generations above these folks. Phil: I have my information from my father-in-law. His paper just mentions that the girls were born in Europe - Barbara in 1839 and Julian in 1846(although census shows closer to 1836). I also found mention of an Andrew Moreo somewhere (not sure where, but I wrote on my notes: "Andrew Moreo (1844)"). That would correlate with what you mentioned ...
