Maybe you have some anecdotal data that would say further searching might tie them together. My Great-great gandfather was John Powell, son of John Powell. The "first" John Powell came to Seneca county about 1830. I haven't gotten anywhere on researching John before 1830. He came to Seneca supposedly directly from PA (not via Fairfield County, OH) , and may have come with a brother, Robert, but that's conjecture so far. Robert seems to have died in the mid 1800's (like 1859 maybe?). I believe there is one person studying Robert's line, but I have lost her name and adress. John (the senior) had multiple children, one of which may have been Ella's parent, but I haven't researched them much. So far I haven't been able to connect my Powells with any other Powell's which are so numerous in the area. My gggrandfather (John, the son) had 6 children (according to census data which shows how many children the mother had.) The children I can confirm are Arvilla Powell Klotz, Emma Powell Holman (my direct line), Katherine Powell Mann and Sylvia Powell Kenan/Keenan. Arvilla was the first born, about 1859, and she died before 1890. One of the other two children may have been a son, but I can't find them, so I assume they died young. Please let me know if any of your data might intersect this line. Thanks Irma
