Does it still exist? What Township > was it in? Maps.yahoo.com; www.mapquest.com; and www.geocities.com collectively show Swander, Ohio to be located about 4 miles Southwest of Tiffin, at the intersection of Cr-36 and Cr-17 (Swander Road), just north of Route 224, and at Latitude 410543N, Longitude 0830536W. I believe this would place it in the township of Clinton, Seneca County, Ohio. It appears to still exist. Note: The publication: Original Land Entries of Seneca County, Ohio, by Brill, Sackett & Holscher, 1992, and the Seneca County, Ohio Cemetery Inscriptions book, both contain maps of Seneca County, Ohio which show the placename of "Ink," at the same location as "Swander" identified above. In addition to the alternate name Ink, the USGS site lists these additional alternate names: Morris, Swander Station and Viona. Pam Kerschner
