    3. I have been a subscriber for some time but this is the first time I have sought information regarding the ancestors of my maternal grandmother - Bertha C. Reichert. She was born in Bloomville in 1881 the daughter of Adam Reichert and Christian Fischer (Fisher). Little is known about the parents of Christian (mother) Fischer. She was born in Seneca County. Also I have no record of the birthplace or dates of three of her siblings as mentioned on the following list. Any assistance that I may receive regarding sources or data of the family while living in Seneca County will be most appreciated. Wally Tonstad Descendants of Adam Reichert Generation No. 1 1. 1. [OHSENECA] Burial Location for Nancy Martin
    2. Dorothy Hackle
    3. Looking for the burial location for Nancy Martin, wife of Isaac W., mother of Andrew. She died in Seneca Co in 1848. If anyone has access to the various cemetery books, could you please check the indexes and see if she is there anywhere. In the 1850 census, her widower lived Big Springs township, so they may have lived there also in 1848 when Nancy died. Thanks to anyone who can look for her burial place. It might be possible that husband Isaac W. Martin is also with her as we've not found his grave either, though he spent most of his time in Muskingum Co. They both may have come to live with Andrew as they got older. We think Isaac W. died before 1839. Dar at dhackle@ix.netcom.com

    3. Hi Wally, Bertha's mother's parents were Jacob and Margaretha Fisher. He was born 20Mar1807 in Bavaria and Margaretha was born 15Jun1809 also in Bavaria. They are buried in the Attica-Venice Cemetery, Attica, Ohio, Section A. I am descended from his first son, Jacob Fisher born 24Mar1830. He likely immigrated with his parents. He married Leah Gambee 18Nov1892 in Seneca County. Other siblings include: Mary, Matilda, and Elizabeth for whom I have little information. I have a little more info on Peter Fisher m Nancy A Means, Caroline Fisher m Levi Benninghoff, and Valentine Fisher m Louisa Reichert. The only info we had on Christina is that she had married a Hart. There are a few of us researching the Fisher family. I will send you an e-mail off the list. Wendy Bergerud, Victoria, BC
