    1. [OHSENECA] MORE tombstone photos from Pleasant Ridge cemetery, Seneca county
    2. Kristina Kuhn Krumm
    3. Linda Lee Hickman just sent me an additional 337 photos of markers bringing the total to 953 for that one cemetery. I have spent today uploading the photos, creating links to each on their respective webpages, and then uploading the new updated webpages. There are a LOT of new additions to the listing thanks to Linda's great close up's of inscriptions! She also took photo's of whole family plots and labeled each grave on the photo. Many graves have 2-3 photos each by Linda, so be sure to see all the view's by clicking on all the links! Linda intends to take photos of all markers there, so be sure to keep watch for further updates. You can visit Pleasant Ridge cemetery at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ohio/seneca/pl_ridge.htm and/or visit my other cemetery sites at: http://kriskuhn.net/links_cemetery.htm Have fun! 1. [OHSENECA] RANKER-AMANN
    2. Ms. Dale Amann
    3. Kristina Thanks for the cemetery listings. I found 'Corrine Ranker Amann' at St. Joseph's. Interesting that her middle name is 'Barbara'. I was told, and her d. cert. says 'Bertha'. Anyway, I must say, this woman was really something. Her entire life she listed herself as married or widowed; yet, she and Herman Mathias Amann, married in 1906, were divorced in Crawford Co., OH., after less than 4 yrs. of marriage! I guess she didn't want anyone asking questions, or something; probably because, although she kept custody of their son, the divorce was granted in favor of Herman. She had to have been some wife for him to have gotten the divorce in 1910. She even lists herself as a widow in the 1930 census, but Herman didn't die until 1944! Anyway, in your cemetery listing, it states (Sec. 3) "w/o Herman Mathias Amann". Thought you might like to know why. Ms. Dale Amann

    1. [OHSENECA] Good news at the Seneca Cemetery site
    2. Kristina Kuhn Krumm
    3. Patrick Royer has completed the spreadsheet for Woodlawn cemetery in Bloom twp., Seneca county. It took him two months to enter all 2,377 names and I thank him very much for doing it! Patrick also created a digital map of the cemtery for us to use. a link to that is on the Woodlawn index page. I have broken the file down into TWELVE webpages. Even at that size they are still HUGE and each will take abt. 2 minutes to load on a slow phone line connection. (Don't all "serious" genealogists have cable connections??!!) just kidding! There have been 63 photos donated of markers in that cemetery and I have created links to them also. you can find Woodlawn and other Seneca cemeteries at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ohio/seneca/list.htm or you can go directly to see Woodlawn index at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ohio/seneca/bloom_woodlawn01.htm PS There are still cemeteries with no spreadsheet in Seneca. Would YOU be willing to help out?? Drop me a line!
