Kristina (Kuhn) Krumm Webmaster of Wyandot County, OH at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohwyand2/ ***************************************************** Hi Kristine, I've been looking through the Seneca co. cemetery pgs. (nice work!!) trying to find John & Rose Kilble, parents of 7 children. #7 Kate (Catherine) b. 20Feb1854 is the person I'm trying to track. A handwritten note (in our family)& oral tradition indicates the family lived in New Riegel..however I've not been able to find any trace of them. Other spellings..Kelbley,Kelble have not turned up any info. I did find her marriage certificate at WR Historical in Clev. Oh. (It has the correct spouse listed.) Her maiden name listed there was Leonhardt.!!?! Leonhart or Leonhardt from Seneca & Crawford cemeteries have not yielded any supporting info. Census info doesn't support the info I have. So my question is...do you know of a local person who may be working on either of these family names? Since fairly new at this, Am I going in the right direction? Thank you for any direction you can offer. Martha email: dmtansey@accnorwalk.com _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam? 3. Hi Judy, I know I am about four months late in getting to you about this but real life has gotten in the way big time lately and I'm just getting around to cleaning out my mailbox. I'm glad I didn't just delete everything like I was ging to do. Did you and Shelby connect?? If you and she did, then we have a connection also, albeit a little more removed probably. Have you been in contact with Dale Faber? He descends from Aaron Clouser also. His grandmother and Martha Clouser Shiley were sisters. My grandpa's brother married Martha's daughter Mary but I also descend from Aaron's brother Enoch Clouser. Hope I haven't totally confused you!!! <smile> Feel free to write!! Linda PS I thought this was interesting too; I went to high school in Clyde (WAYYYYY back in the seventies) with a Christina Gross and also an Oakford Leiter, aka Oakey. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Judy Morgan" <m1357us@yahoo.com> To: <OHSENECA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, February 04, 2003 6:21 PM Subject: Re: [OHSENECA] look up > > Shelby > You're not gonna believe this. 1. [OHSENECA] Updated St. Mary's cemetery, Clinton twp. Seneca County online
    2. Kristina Kuhn Krumm
    3. Hi all! Ken and I have taken photos of NEARLY all the graves at St. Mary's cemetery, this includes names that were not listed in the 1987 publication that Dave and Yvette used to create their listing. I have added these names of the new graves with a dash in front. Also you will see names from 1987 listing with a dash in front, these have "new info" as seen on the marker. This increased the number of graves from 2,270 to 2,775 as of June 2003. We have to make one more trip back to get the ones I missed. These were mainly a couple rows in Section 2B. (HOW did I miss those??!!) and some in 2A that I thought I already had. You can find a link to the "new updated" listing of St. Mary's cemetery at my main Seneca county cemetery page: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ohio/seneca/list.htm Also of interest... Mike Stiger has began digital photographing all of Duke's cemetery at Pleasant township. This too is an active cemetery and once he finishes I am sure the listing there will be greatly expanded. Keep an eye on "last updated" dates, as I will be working on that one regularly, he sends me more digital photos nearly everyday. The "old" listing had 2,330 names from reading in 1987, so he will be very busy there! Last month, Dave Kuntz stopped at St. Boniface and took 300 or so digital photos at St. Boniface in old section,he is having problems reading the inscriptions in the photos. but hang in there, we will figure it out. Thank God for the 1987 Seneca Genealogy Society book reading by row! it will be an invaluable tool in this cemetery as always, helping identify these now unreadable stones!
