Does anyone on this list have access to obituaries? I'm looking for obits for Attica residents: Harold HOLM, died 5 Aug 1995 in Bloomville Velma G HOLM, died 20 June 1998 in Fremont, Sandusky Co, OH Thanks for your help. Warmly, Daniel Powers
Greetings from New Mexico, I'm beginning research on the HOLM family of Attica. Harold HOLM was born 28 Feb 1901, died 5 Aug 1995; his siblings included Raymond, Vinton, Perry, Ward, Winfred, Ruth and Rachel. His parents were John HOLM and Bernice KENTFIELD. I don't know whether Harold was born in Seneca Co or whether his family of origin lived in Seneca County. Family lore has John and Bernice running a grocery store in Omar, Reed Twp, Seneca Co. Bernice Kentfield was from Crawford, Wyandot Co. Any help with these lines would be helpful. Thanks, Daniel Powers

Hi Sue, My husband's ancestor who I was referring to was Edward C. Marble, Sr. In the 1850 Lockport, Niagara Co., NY Census, he is listed as a weaver. In the 1860 Mexico, Tymochtee Twp, Wyandot Co., OH Census, he's listed as a laborer. I have not found him in 1870, although his wife and family are in Carey, Wyandot Co., OH in that census year. I have been told by another researcher that he moved to Berrien Co., MI and died there. Thanks for the interesting information. I would love to know if any of Edward Marble's weaving survived or was ever documented. This was my husband's 3rd great-grandfather.
