    3. I would appreciate any information on any of these lines. David Thomas & Melinda Lee arrived in Bloomville about 1843 with their 4 oldest children. 4 more were born in Bloomville. The Lee's are buried in the Reformed Church Cemetery, along with some of the children. David Thomas died in 1869 and Melinda in 1882. Melinda's parents, Noah and Mary Resseguie, sometimes spelled Russagee, came to Omar at the same time. They died in the 1850's and are buried at the Omar Cemetery. The oldest Lee son, Sherman Albert married Margaret Jasmine Bretz of Bloomville. Marietta Lee married William Culver, Ginnett Lee married Robert Blackwell. Jesse Albert Lee, son of Sherman Albert, married Belle Clark, dau. Of Jacob & Mary Ann Lipsey (Sipsey) Clark in 1897. I would especially like any information about the Lipsey (Sipsey) family and any of the Lee's. Thanks Phyllis Lee Doucette

    3. Good Evening Darlene, Thank you for responding. My Father-in-Law was from Cygnet, Wood County, Ohio. His ancestors came from Fairfield county, Bloom Township and were connected to the CORTRIGHTs there. One ancestor, John DRAKE, moved away to Seneca county; his wife, Affie, is buried in Seneca county. Several of their children moved to Eagleville [just north of Bloomdale] Wood county in the 1830s. From John and Affie, issue William, issue Oliver Perry, issue Addis Sylvester, issue Ralph Lowe DRAKE. Ralph did have cousins in Toledo, but I don't recognize Jack and Hattie at this time. Samuel SAUL, b. 1801 (son of Johann Leonhard SAHL) and his wife Anna SPITLER, b. 1800 (daughter of Abraham SPITLER) were in Seneca County by about 1812. Edward SAUL, b. 1825, son of Samuel and Lavina KAGY, b 1831, daughter of Abraham married in Seneca County in 1825. Their children were; Robert M. John Lewis Isabella Stephen Arnold Douglas Martha Elizabeth Mariah Theresa Eliza Jane Hannah Louella George I am a descendant of Stephen Arnold Douglas SAUL, b. 1860.     3. My Seneca County ancestor was on the Tiffin city council around the turn of the century. TC Engemann also owned a restaurant on Market Street. His wife was a Strasser from Wyandot County. Mary Strasser Engemann died in 1899 after being involved in a runaway wagon accident. She is buried in Wyandot County. Theodore Engemann later married Mary Strasser's sister Elizabeth and the family moved to Pennsylvania. Before owning his restaurant, Theodore was a salesman for a couple of breweries.

Edwin Pennington, born 1821/1826 - died 1862 Ann Kuhn, wife of Edwin Henry Oscar Pennington, born Oct. 1848 Edwin Pennington and Ann Kuhn had a son listed on the 1850 census as "Osker", then on the 1860 census he was listed as "Henry".
