    2. I have a Barbara Deisinger born Berks Co., PA. Married Christian Bergstresser of Bucks County, PA in 1800. After moving to NY in 1808 they moved to Seneca County Ohio in 1839. Barbara died 8 January 1870 in Clinton Township, Seneca County, Ohio and is buried with husband in St. Jacob Cemetery, Adams Township, Seneca County. I've seen this name spelt several ways including Dysinger so I don't know if my Barbara is part of your Dysingers or not. Barbara had a brother Thomas who died in Bloomfield, Seneca County, Ohio. That's about the extent of what I have on Barbara's family. I'm concentrating on the Bergstresser line and am still trying to find the names of 9 of their 15 children. If you think she is of the family you are searching I can put you in touch with someone in NY who is researching that line also. Pat in Florida

    2. Kristina Kuhn Krumm
    3. I too have McCarthy in Seneca county. my GGG-Grandmother, Ellen McCarthy/McCarty was born abt 1803 in Ireland she married William Hickey abt 1827 in Ireland and they came to America settled first in Pennsylvania abt 1837, then Seneca County sometime before 1848 They had eight children. They were trading lands with John and Johanna McCarthy in 1848 so he may be a brother or a father. She in fact named children, John AND Johanna, so surely was family, Also they lived near Patrick McCarthy, a suspected brother to Ellen. Does any of this ring a bell??
