The Athens District and the Scioto, Pike and Ross Co. chapters of OGS are planning a genealogy workshop for late October.? We are requesting that anyone interested submit suggestions for class subjects and/or speakers who you know to have expertise in an area of general interest.? Please respond to this by mid March, because we need to have the plans in place by April 1, to be able to publicise at the Ohio Genealogical Society 2009 Annual Conference.? That conference will be held starting on Thurs. evening April 2, and continuing thru Sat. April 4, at the Sawmill Creek Resort, Huron, OH.? This is about 15 minutes from Cedar Point.
