Tuesday January 11, 1966 page 18. Henry D. Pieske Henry Daniel Pieske, 76, of 1415 1/2 High St., was pronounced dead on arrival Monday afternoon at Mercy Hospital. The city fire department rescue squad was called to the residence at 3:46 p.m. and Pieske was taken to the hospital by Melcher ambulance. A native of Minnesota, he was a retired car repairman for Norfolk & Western Railway. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Tere Pieske; a son, John Pieske and a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Caroll, both of Lancaster; a foster son, Michael Maynard, at home; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Maxie Wright, 3018 Gallia St., and Mrs. Lexie Maynard of Lucasville Rt. 3; several brothers and sisters in Minnesota; three grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Funeral services are to be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Melcher Funeral Home, with Rev. Quentin King officiating. Burial is to be in Lucasville Cemetery.
