At newspaperarchives the image is practically illegible. With the above information perhaps you can get a clear copy from the Portsmouth Library. Portsmouth Times Friday, 8 February 1963 Daniel H. Reffit Daniel H. Reffit, 74, of 4252 Sterling Ave., North Moreland, died at 5:45 a.m. today in Mercy Hospital. He was admitted to the hospital after suffering a stroke Jan. 17. Reffit, who retired in 1955 from Detroit Steel Corp. Portsmouth Division, was born in Greenup County Nov. 25, 1888, a son of Toliver and Phoebe Reffit. He had been a resident of Scioto County 55 years Surviving are his wife, Cinda Cole Reffit; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Fehy of Pasadena, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lorraine Coriell, 4230 Sterling Ave., North Moreland; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Sally of Eighth St.; three brothers; George Reffit of Mancelona, Mich., Marshall Reffit of Lancaster and Richard Reffit of Beaver Rt. 2 and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Reffit was a member of Second Evangelical United Brethren Church in North Moreland where funeral services are to be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday. Rev. E. M. Shelton is to officiate. Interment is to be in Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call at the residence at 4252 Sterling Ave., North Moreland after 11 a.m. Sunday.
