Marlene, You can find the Portsmouth, Ohio newspapers online here. It's not free, but they have various types of subscriptions from one day, one week, 3 months, to one year. www.newspaperarchive.com I've found a lot of obits and other newspaper articles on my family there. A few examples...my parents marriage announcement, my own birth announcement, and my cousin's photo when she was elected Homecoming Queen! You can easily copy an article on your screen and paste it into an MS Word document. Just like cutting an pasting with scissors and glue, but without the mess. The Portsmouth Public Library will find obits, but they charge, and I don't know if they would do this many for you. For as many as you're asking for, it might be cheaper (and quicker) for you to buy one of the subscriptions from www.newspaperarchive.com and do the look-ups yourself.
