"I found an old obit for Augustine Thorne in the genealogy dept. at Ohio University that said he passed away at his daughter's house on Mill St. in Portsmouth, Ohio and was buried in a cemetery on Pond Run." Pitiful information I know. Sorry. Perhaps Metzger is not Augustine's final resting place. Is this the only cemetery on Pond Run Rd.?
