She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Henry and Beatrice Bell Bartee. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Chester Swayne and son, Louis C. Swayne. She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Swayne; brother, William Bartee of CA; granddaughters, Michele Swayne, Melissa (Eddie) Walker, Misty (David) Miller of NJ; grandson, Louis C. (Brooke) Swayne II of CA; great-grandchildren, Lauren Walker, Rachel Walker, Leigha Miller and Aidan Swayne. She was co-manager of the Xenia Cinema for over 20 years. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Locust Grove Cemetery, 2259 Cemetery Rd., Peebles, OH with Rev. Marlan Davis officiating.
