We are researching the family of James Brooks and Pauline "Polly" Kesterson. According to the 1850 census of Vernon Township, Scioto County, OH, James was born about 1800 in OH and Polly was born about 1805 also in Ohio. Our direct line ancestor is their daughter, Rebecca Brooks Graham born about 1835 in Ohio. Rebecca was married to William Graham. Rebecca died in Crawford County, MO We are seeking the names of the parents for James Brooks and Polly Kesterson Brooks and exact birth and death dates for James and Polly.
