Gilliland, 1717 Grandview Avenue announced the marriage of his only daughter, Etta Jane, to Clayton Lyles Morgan, son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Morgan, 609 Eighth Street. The ceremony was performed March 7 with Leonard Smith, justice of peace, of Greenup, officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Martin of Nauvoo were the only attendants. The bride wore a suit of powder blue trimmed with gray fox fur. Her accessories were of navy blue. Mrs. Martin wore a navy blue dress and black accessories. The bride and bridegroom attended Portsmouth High School and the latter now is employed at a Chabot service station. Portsmouth Times Wed March 10 1948 Marriage Licenses at Greenup Gilbert Vickery, 32, of Stockdale, truck driver, and Etta Jane Morgan, 28, of Portsmouth.
