Transcribed by Joyce Robinson The Portsmouth Times October 12, 1858 Master Commissioner's Sale Sale by order of Court Amanda PURSELL, Ex's of James PURSELL vs. E. F. SWIFT and wife. By virtue of an order of sale issued out of the Court of Common Pleas, in and for the county of Scioto, and to me directed, I will offer at public sale, at the door of the Court House in the city of Portsmouth, on Monday, 1st day of November, 1858, at the hour of one o'clock, p. m., of said day, the following real estate, to wit: All that parcel of ground situate and being within the corporate limits of the city of Portsmouth, Scioto county, Ohio, bounded as follows: Beginning at a stake in the North side of the Gallipolis road, where the same now runs, and in the East line of a parcel of land heretofore deeded by E. GLOVER and wife to AZEL GLOVER, thence East to a stake in the East line of lands heretofore owned by said E. GLOVER and wife, and where the same strikes the South side of the Gallipolis road, as the same now runs, being about 12 poles, thence North with said East line 16 poles more or less, to the South-East corner of a small lot of land, heretofore owned by RICHARD SILL, thence North 89 ? West with the South line of said SILL's lot, 11 poles 16 2/3 links to a stake, thence South along the West line of AZEL GLOVER's land, to the place of beginning. Appraised at Two Thousand Dollars. To be sold as the property of E. F. SWIFT and, wife, at the suit of AMANDA PURSELL, Executrix of JAMES PURSELL, dec'd. JOHN COOK, S. S. C. By R. H. SHANNON, Deputy. Sept. 28, 1858, 4w. pf. 8.00.
