Ohio Death Certificate Index www.ohiohistory.org/dindex After you find that death certificate on the OH Death Certificate index at the Ohio Historical Society, go to the Stark District Library. Use Address http://www.stark.lib.oh.us/ohiodeathrecordsrequestform.html fill out the form and they will send you a copy of the actual death certificate (1908-1944) Much cheaper than getting it from the state. Hi Jean, I don't know. I received that information from another list, but I am sure there must be a place to contact them. I didn't use it, because the dates are to late for the time my Salter family was in Scioto Co. Hope you can find your information.
