The guidelines are necessary to prevent the requests from becoming overwhelming and running a muck. 1. Please go to: http://www.civilwardata.com/genealgy.html and click on the PERSONNEL link to see if the person you are looking for is shown. If so then e-mail me at [email protected] with all provided information and I will forward any other data that is stored in the database. Please include the row #. 2. Please limit your request to two soldiers. 3. I will not do multiple lookups with soldiers with the same Given/Surnames. It's up to up to decide which soldier is your ancestor. 4. If you are clueless to whom your ancestor may be then please think about using $10 trial version. 5. And most of all please limit your e-mail to your requests only. Please refrain from sending your family history or lengthy dialogs. It's a waste of your and my time. HINT: Should there be more than one soldier for that name then please make a guess at which on you think it might be first. Enlistment ages are given and this would be the starting place for searching. If you known your ancestor was 19 at the time then there would be no use in searching all of those names over that age.
