    3. The following list comes from the Portsmouth Times, Nov. 1858. It is a list a delinquent taxes for the City and Town Lots. I am only listing the names here, additional information is available by request. Additional information as posted in the newspaper is as follows: No. In Lot. City, Description, Feet Front, Val. Taxes D/C Delinquent List Of Lands, City and Town Lots, and parts of Lots, within the County of Scioto, State of Ohio, returned Delinquent for the non-payment of Taxes due thereon for the year 1857, with thirty per.cent, penalty added thereunto, together with the simple Taxes for the year 1858, which are charged against said Lands, Lots, and parts of Lots to-wit: CITY OF PORTSMOUTH. AUDITOR’S OFFICE, SCITOR COUNTY, OHIO Portsmouth, November 27th, 1858 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the whole of the several tract of Land, City and Town Lots, and parts of Lots in the foregoing list, or as much thereof as will be necessary to pay the Taxes and Penalty thereon, will be sold at the Court House, in the City of Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio, on the second Monday of January next, it being the 10th A.
