Betsy, thank you so much for the information. Right now it doesn't look as if this William is the father of my Samuel JACKSON. The Samuel I'm researching was married in 1843 to Sarah STULTZ and was living in Benton Township, Pike Co., OH in 1850. I do appreciate your sending the information, however, since it helps me clarify these relationships a little.
