Hi, I just the other day uncovered two new earliest-entry STOCKHAMs that have implications for both Pennsylvania and quite likely Ohio. Unfortunately, I am fiscally underappreciated! I am hoping someone who might have a subscription would be willing to do a lookup for me? Here are Cindy's words: "I searched on 1720-1778 time period, and this came up, but of course, I don't have access to this part of the [Ancestry] site. History of lower Scioto Valley, Ohio Viewing records 1-4 of 4 matches for: Charles Stockham Chapter/Section Page Chapter XIX. Madison, Jefferson and Valley townships 391 Chapter XIX. Madison, Jefferson and Valley townships 393 Chapter XXI. Nile, Washington and Union townships 431 Chapter XL. Jackson, Beaver, Marion and Union townships 824 This source lists a John Stockham-Revolutionary War Pension Lists Military Records-Rejected or Suspended Applications for Rev. War, Claims of Kentucky Residents, 1850, Page 369 The entry reads: John Stockham..............Lewis....................Period, length and grade of service, and names of company and field officers and stations should be given." If you can assist with this, you would be assisting at least three (and, in actuality a number more) STOCKHAM researchers. Thanks, Vince Summers
