Hello! I'm new to this list. I have been researching the Griffith family. I found that a family member, Elizabeth (Madill) Griffith, was living with her daughter, Ella (Griffith) Williams and her husband, Charles Williams in 1900 in Green Township, Scioto County. I know that she was buried in Ashland, Boyd County, Ohio, which was where her husband, David Griffith, was buried. I would like to see if I can find an obituary for Elizabeth. Where would I start looking? What newspapers were being published in Scioto County at the time? Would her obituary likely have been published there? I do know that Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio had a paper at the time as well? Can anyone make any recommendations for me? Thanks ever so much for any help! - Jean Griesan
