Looking for death info. on the following: >From the 1930 census Scioto Co. Bloom Twp. #226, 227 I have DEAN, Wm. F., 68 yr old truck farmer, b. VA living with wife Rachel A., age 66, b. OH In 1910 this couple was in Blaine, Lawrence Co. KY. with their family of 4 children, including Wm. F. Jr., who was 8 at the time. In 1920 this couple was living with their 18 yr old. son Wm. F., Jr. on Jackson St. in Portsmouth. Both father and son were shoe workers. The 3 older children are out of the house. By 1930 Wm. Sr. has gone back to farming in Bloom Twp. Scioto Co. That's the township where South Webster is located. Wm. Jr. has married, is living at a different Jackson St. address in Portsmouth, and is employed by the steel mill. Question: Does anyone have access to Bloom Twp.-South Webster cemetery listings other than those on-line? Does anyone have a burial or anything further on Wm. F. DEAN Sr. b. abt 1862 and wife Rachel A. DEAN b. abt. 1864? I have checked the cemetery listings that are at the Scioto.org site for Bloom Twp. but didn't find them. Hi Herma, At the Portsmouth Library website there is an historical index that lists Rachel Ann Dean and William R. Dean in the Vernon Township Cemetery. Unfortunately there are no other details and I don't know where to get info about this cemetery.
