I guess I will keep on searching for Amaziah's place of burial. Maybe one of these days I will hit pay dirt. There are so many Cooper's in Adams and Scioto County that it is very hard to get them all separated. I believe the majority of them are all related in some way. I have done research on a great many of them; but, I have a lot of missing information. Georgia Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Hopefully I can go again this spring or summer. Angie Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. You stated that Henry Clay Cooper was married to Mary Ann Lewis and that Mary Ann Lewis is the daughter of Amaziah Cooper and Margaret Teeters. I have Amaziah Cooper married to a Rebecca Hodges on Sept.3, 1847 in Scioto County Oh. Amaziah had a sister named Mariah born in 1832. She married Abraham Lewis on Oct. 2, 1865 in Scioto County. Now, Amaziaa and Mariah had a LOT of siblings. One of them being Samuel Cooper, born Dec. 21, 1817. He married Emily Elarton June 18, 1840 in Jackson Ohio. Samuel Cooper and Emily Elarton Cooper. are my great-great grandparents. Their daughter Emily Cooper, born Feb. 28, 1858 (married George William Rivers) is my great grandmother. She is buried in the River Cemetery on Lower Twin Creek in Adams County. I think it goes like this :) That makes Clay's mother, Mariah, my great-great grandfather's sister. Now if that doesn't make you dizzy, nothing will. I have LOTS of Holsingers, Blevins, Coopers and more liv! ing in and from the Scioto and Adams County areas. Talk to you soon, Angie Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I've never been on Upper Twin Creek to look for any cemeteries there. I have been to the River Cemetery on Lower Twin Creek where there are Cooper's buried there. Emily Cooper is one of my paternal great grandmothers. I haven't researched any further back than Emily on the Cooper side, at least not yet. I am very familiar with McKendree Cemetery. My maternal grandparents, great grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins are buried there. Angie Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
