McCleary and i think its E. D. Benner they signed Charles Flowers pension application saying they knew him before civil war and verified his disability was real after the war...just got the records today the writing is hard to decipher but am trying was wondering who these guys were, whereabout they may have lived.. i know Charles lived in Clyde..in town from other records i have..but, he states he is a farmer when able.... Charles married Sarah Parmalia Roush in Angola, Indiana..april 11, 1858 why there???? we dont know, as both were from Clyde area... did they elope, perhaps???? LOL Charles and Sarah are both buried in McPherson in clyde.... thanks for any help
