I have found a postcard picturing the store which was on Rt6, next to Riley School. There is a woman standing next to the building and, if this was Oscar's wife, then the picture was taken before 1954, as my dad moved to Riley Township in that year and the wife had passed on before that time. The picture has one Gulf gas pump and an old Gulf gas sign. Dad says that Oscar had slot machines in the rear of the store and that was how he made his money. (Gambling was legal in Ohio back then) Does anyone have any stories to tell me about Oscar and his store? My mother was a Pasch and her mother's maiden name was Plagman.
