Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WZB.2ACI/749 Message Board Post: would there be records of a coroners inquest in july of 1851...in obit in newspaper...joseph francis, was found drowned by the fremont river....inquest was held because of evidence but was dismissed as an accidental drowning, probably due to a fall... no other info in obit....perhaps the inquest records would reveal more about man, description of looks, etc... would hayescenter have such papers in their archives??? just go my familly chronicle magazine and was a suggestion as a way to get info!! he was probably my grt grt grandfather....havent confirmed that he was the one, but, how many joseph francis of the right age would of been in fremont in 1851...was married to eva brown...and have found other court records naming her as a witness at stepsons court case andone for joseph too..... thanks for any info and hope afforded!! email me direct...grammanos@cs.com thanks again
