Hello Sandy McDougall, Sorry I must be out here day dreaming sometimes, we have a town up here called Sandusky and it is in Sanilac county. The other things about the Cooley family is that in Michigan they were in Monroe county in the late 1830s and appeared in Cass county in the early 1840s. Sorry about my mix up, and good luck.
