Hello listers, I am new to the list. I am attempting to locate the burial place of my ggggrandfather, FOUNTAIN YOUNG. He was a soldier in the War of 1812 in Col. Poage's KY Mounted Cav. The info I have is that he participated in the Battle of Thames and was wounded in that battle. He was mustered out of the service in Upper Sandusky and he is believed to be buried in that area. I have no other information on him. Can anyone offer any information on FOUNTAIN YOUNG or where he could possibly be buried in that area? Does anyone have information about the Battle of Thames?
