She was one of the daughters of Adam BRUNTHAVER (1789-1860) and his first wife Maria Magdalena RIDENOUR (1785-1835). I know she married a Bowman, because Adam's Will lists her as "Esther Bowman." But I can't find in my notes where the name "Solomon" came from. Perhaps she was an earlier wife of your Solomon Bowman who didn't live very long? Sorry but I have no more information.

Surnames: Fusselman, Shrenk Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WZB.2ACI/612.1.1.1 Message Board Post: I found that Peter P. Fusselman who lived in Fremont, Sandusky co., OH died April 9, 1875 at age 76 in Fremont. His wife was Eliza S. My connection is: he had a grocery store with my relative Martin Shrenk in 1869 on the corner of Front St and Garrison St. I cannot find Martin Shrenk after 1880 in Cleveland. His wife remarried Heman Smith in Sandusky Co., OH in 1882. Heman was once a mayor of Fremont. Do you know anything about this grocery store they had? Also found P.P Fusselman in the 1850 Fremont, Sandusky Co., OH census. with wife Eliza S. age 50., Children A. W. age 28, Harriet M. age 21, Jane age 24. P.P. and his son A.W. were listed occupation Tinner. I thought perhaps the obits might mention the store. Thanks

    1. Re: [OHSandusky] Re: whereabouts lot 148 at green springs cemetery
    2. Linda Lee Hickman
    3. I had answered Terry privately but I thought I would respond to this on list. The late Hope McConnell did a wonderful job transcribing the Green Springs Cemetery. If you are looking for someone buried there, try to locate a copy of her work as she did use the cemetery records and recorded the stones also, she broke it down into lots, half lots and even quarter lots. It's just about as good as it gets! I know the Seneca County library has a copy and I bet Hayes probably does too. My reply to Terry: I sure hope this will clear the muddy waters for you. This is taken from Hope's hand typed copy, exact quote: Lot 148 N. 1/2---very confusing: NE. 1/4 & W. 1/2 of N. 1/2 Robert Stull; E. 1/2 of N. 1/2 Levi Moore (1901); W. 1/2 of N. 1/2 Adams Tp. Trustees (Jan. 19 1911). Both Robert Stull & Levi Moore payed for their graves; but no one sure just where they bought. Only stone on this 1/2 lot is close to the middle of the lot: John N. Campbell 1856-1911 S. 1/2 R.D. Reynolds Est. Large Reynolds stone R.D Reynolds M.D. 1866-1923 Elva Riddle Reynolds 1884-1923 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It looks to me if you look for the stones of John N. Campbell 1856-1911 near the large Reynolds stone, that is where you will find the lot. I sure hope this helps! If I can help you any just let me know! Regards, Linda Also: in lot 147 are Schusters and Holtz in lot 149 are Alspaugh, Rhinebergers, McFadden, Fought and Grove ----- Original Message ----- From: <jcall@cros.net> To: <OHSANDUS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 12, 2003 3:25 PM Subject: [OHSandusky] Re: whereabouts lot 148 at green springs cemetery This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. I am from GS originally and have never heard of that name. There are several cemeteries around Green Springs that could be considered "Green Springs." (That is redundant, isn't it?) There is only one in the town itself. I would contact the Mayor Ted Rutherford. He may give you a lead as to where to locate these people or who to speak with. Also try going to Senea County or Sandusky County probate offices as Green Springs is divided by these two counties. Thank you. 3. Have you tried the Hayes Presidential Center. I've included the link for you. They are absolutely wonderful there!! You can order them online, by snailmail or have them emailed to you (not their preferred method but still an option). I ordered 15 obits and it took about 5 days to get them, and that was over the holidays. Good luck. Linda Gittinger Hickman http://index.rbhayes.org/ How to Order Obituaries By Mail from the Hayes Presidential Center 1.. The charge is $2.50 per obituary (not per person - some people have several obits.) 2.. Make a list of the name and the citation - newspaper name or abbreviation, date, page, column. 3.. Mail with check made out to “Hayes Presidential Center” for amount - (number of obits x $2.50) Obits on Web Hayes Presidential Center Spiegel Grove Fremont, OH 43420 4.. We will mail you the copies of the obits as soon as we can get to them. The turnaround time will depend on the amount of traffic this web service generates. We will attempt to complete your request within a week of receipt of your check. ----- Original Message ----- From: "remarksk" <kskramer@wcoil.com> To: <OHSANDUS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 12, 2003 2:27 PM Subject: [OHSandusky] Fremont Library Does anyone know the email address for the Fremont, Ohio library.
