Hubert went west after his mother and some siblings died from sickness - his father went back to Germany for a while with Charles - On the 1880 census I've found an Albert Witcher and a Mary Gilson living as individuals working as a servant (Mary) and a farm/laborer( (Albert) - Rice Township In 1900 it appears that Fremont's boundaries expanded out - and I am not certain where to start to see if they are on the 1900 census - Any one have any clues?

Their doctor was a woman, a M.D., not a midwife, who testified to their birth in 1943. I wonder whether anyone has written about this doctor who delivered these twins so early in the twentieth century, Emily Blakeslee, M.D.? My aunt was a registered nurse for many years, working with private duty patients at Providence; she was a member of St. Peter and Paul, lived for many years on Fulton St. when she and my father were growing up, then moved to 422 Lawrence before her final residence at Vacationland on Lake Erie. --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free. The branch I am looking for would be from brothers of my ggggrandfather Peter Neeb, born in Bavaria 1796. He was the youngest of 15 children. Several of his brothers and sisters emigrated to America, not sure when, but it was before 1815 when he came over. Three of the brothers died in the War of 1812, one in the Spanish War. No names are known for any of his siblings. We do know (from an article written about him on his 100th brithday) that he had a brother in Ohio in 1830's around the Centerville area. Anything sound familiar?????? Susan
