    2. I have ancestors that arrived in Greenfield in about 1819. Is there a Ross County Historical Society? Could someone tell me where it is located or where I could find records relating to Greenfield? I'm looking for John C. Meneely and his wife Isabella and family. 3. There is both a Ross County Historical Society and a Ross County Genealogical Society. If you are searching for ancestors, it would make more sense to contact the genealogy society than the historical society. I don't have their contact information in front of me at the moment but you can find the contact information for any county chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society at the OGS website www.ogs.org Amy of these organizations should come up in a Google search or whatever search engine you use.
