I'm looking for John Barrett in censuses of 1870-90. He lived in Thornton, which is in Ross Co. according to the Rootsweb town finder. He was pastor of Pisgah Presbyterian church for over 30 years. I just can't find this town in either Ross or Highland. It was supposed to be 5 1/2 miles northeast of Greenfield. Any help will be appreciated. Barbara
